| ABOUT THE ARTIST |
Justin Sparks Wildlife Artist
Justin Sparks was born in Arlington Texas
in 1973. Until September of 2000, Justin
devoted his life to working with the animals
he paints. Within his animal career he has
worked at the fort Worth Zoo, The World
Bird Sanctuary in Eureka, Missouri, The
Wolf Sanctuary in Eureka, Missouri and
has also worked on US Government grant
studies of native songbirds.
Although his love for working directly
with animals and wildlife runs deep, he
decided to follow his lifelong dream of
becoming a full-time artist. Justin is a
self-taught artist, spending most of his
spare time in the outdoors hiking and
camping, always on the lookout for his next
painting. Justin uses watercolor and
gouache on watercolor board.
His work has been on display in the
U.S, Mexico, Canada, Hong Kong and the
United Kingdom. Justin was also named
Texas Ducks Unlimited Sponsor Artist of
the Year in 2002-2003 after only 2 years of
painting. His paintings an also be viewed in
many galleries throughout the country.

Lake City, Colorado with his wife Jennifer,
Daughter Arianna and the many animal
friends that share their home with them.
